KRISTEN KING
Kristen joined Shillington McCall LLP as an associate lawyer in 2026. Kristen began her legal career as a class action lawyer and was involved in a number of competition, consumer protection, and product liability class actions, through which she developed strong advocacy and negotiation skills. Kristen moved to insurance defence work and developed an established practice focussing on automobile claims, professional negligence, occupier’s liability, and other various tort claims.
Prior to being called to the bar in 2018, Kristen attended McMaster University and obtained a Bachelor of Science. She later attended Western University and earned a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability. After graduating, she worked as an Environmental Scientist at a global engineering firm for several years. During that time, Kristen was a member of various varsity and club rowing teams in Ontario.
Kristen is an active member of the Middlesex Law Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
