Alex is the Managing Partner at Shillington McCall LLP. He maintains a busy civil litigation practice in a number of fields. His primary practice areas are municipal and police liability, occupiers' negligence and automobile/ Insurance Act matters. Alex strives to identify the real issues early and create practical solutions for his clients. He enjoys both the art and science of advocacy and has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and various administrative tribunals. Alex has a passion for the law and for getting his clients results.

Alex has a B.A. (Hons.) in philosophy from the University of Western Ontario (2002). He earned his LL.B. at Queen’s University in 2005, graduating with a number of academic awards. He was called to the Bar in 2006.

Outside the practice of law, Alex enjoys sports, music and spending time with his busy family.
