Ishaan is an Associate Lawyer at Shillington McCall LLP, where his practice focuses on insurance defence litigation. He joined the firm in September 2026 and represents insurers and insureds in a wide range of civil disputes. Ishaan is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers (CDL).



Ishaan is dual licensed to practice law in Ontario and India. He earned his B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School before obtaining his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Shillington McCall, he articled with a Toronto insurance defence firm, where he gained experience in insurance defence and civil litigation matters.

In addition to his insurance defence practice, Ishaan has a particular interest in immigration law. Drawing on his own experience navigating the immigration process, he understands the challenges individuals and families may face and appreciates the meaningful impact that effective legal representation can have.

Outside of the office, Ishaan enjoys staying active through a variety of sports, including football (soccer), tennis, and squash. More recently, he has taken up bouldering. He is also an avid traveller and film enthusiast and can often be found at the cinema in his spare time.
