ALEXIS TRIGNANI

Alexis was called to the Bar in Alberta in December 2023 and in Ontario in July 2024, and has been building her career with energy and passion ever since. She started her journey with a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Criminology from Western University’s King’s College, then headed overseas to earn her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Leicester. Not stopping there, she came back to Canada and completed her Master of Laws in Canadian Common Law at Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, Alexis rolled up her sleeves and gave back, volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Family Law Clinic to help self-represented litigants find their way through the family law maze.

Her career has taken her across provinces and across perspectives. In Alberta, she trained at a full-service law firm, gaining hands on experience in a wide variety of practice areas. That exposure gave her the confidence to take on files of all shapes and sizes, and the ability to adapt quickly. In Ontario, she shifted to plaintiff-side personal injury before discovering her true passion on the defence side of files. Having practiced on both sides of the table, Alexis brings a well-rounded perspective to every case, with a talent for finding practical, people-focused solutions.

Alexis has successfully appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Superior Court of Justice. Whether it is in the courtroom or across the negotiation table, she thrives on helping clients find fair, practical resolutions. Known for her warm personality and approachable nature, Alexis guides her clients with intelligence and care.

Outside of work, Alexis brings the same energy to life. She is an avid hiker, a traveller, and someone who loves spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud fur-mom to a purebred Bengal cat and a purebred Yorkshire Terrier dog, and a passionate advocate for animal rights because, as she likes to say: “Just because animals cannot argue their case in court does not mean they should not have someone in their corner.”

Alexis is a member of Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Middlesex Law Association, and she brings heart, hustle, and a spark of fun to everything she does.
