Patrick Brennan is a partner and trial lawyer at Shillington McCall LLP. His diverse practice includes accident benefit dispute resolution before the Licence Appeals Tribunal, Occupiers’ Liability Act defences for large retailers and commercial properties, private insurer and collateral claim disputes both in and out of court, and all manner of tort defences for municipalities and public entities including property, personal injury, and negligence claims. He has successfully represented clients, large and small, at the trial level of the Superior Court of Justice, at the Divisional Court, and at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He also represents clients’ interests recovering claim payouts through subrogated actions and negotiated settlements.
Pat obtained his undergraduate degree from King’s University College in London (2006) and his Juris Doctor at Queen’s University in Kingston (2009). Pat was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and joined Shillington McCall LLP in 2012.
Pat is a past Trustee of the Middlesex Law Association, the Western Law Small Claims Court Project, and continues to serve several non-profit endeavours and boards in the London area.
